Since January 2009, the Planning Jungle website has been at the forefront of helping local authorities, agents, architects, and members of the public to interpret householder permitted development legislation. The website includes one of the most comprehensive resources available of appeal decisions relating to Part 1 of the GPDO. This has enabled local authorities to improve the quality of their assessments, and agents to improve the success rates of their applications.
Since November 2011, the Planning Jungle website has become a membership only service, run by “Planning Jungle Limited”. This change has enabled the author (Steve Speed) to update the website much more regularly, including weekly updates of the “Part 1: Appeal Decision Summaries” document, the “Part 1: Incidental Appeal Decisions” document, and the “All Other LDC Appeal Decisions” document. Members now benefit by having a much more up-to-date resource relating to Part 1 of the GPDO.
