The "GPDO Part 1 (All Classes) - LDC Appeal Decisions" document has been updated to include 4 additional appeal decisions relating to householder permitted development legislation (2 "LDC Appeals" and 2 "Enforcement Appeals"), for which the conclusions are as follows:

April 2013 - Code a00384 (appeal dismissed):

  • This appeal decision provides an example of where it was concluded that a Class A extension with a roof that would join onto the roof of the main house should also be assessed against Class B, albeit as well as Class C (without applying the 15cm projection limit of C.1(b)). (*)

April 2013 - Code a00383 (appeal allowed):

  • This appeal decision provides an example of where it was concluded that a particular piece of land is within the “curtilage” of the property.
