The "GPDO Part 1 (All Classes) - Visual Guide" document on this website has been significantly expanded, so that it now includes a set of illustrations for each of the following:

  • Typical 1930s Council house with a rectangular footprint.
  • Typical Victorian house with a two-storey rear projection (i.e. an "outrigger").

This is the first example screenshot for the above document, which provides a visual guide to Part 1 of the GPDO (i.e. householder permitted development legislation).  This is the second example screenshot for the above document, which provides a visual guide to Part 1 of the GPDO (i.e. householder permitted development legislation).

Note: the full version of the above document (which is only accessible by members) contains both of the above sets of illustrations, whilst the free version of the above document (which is accessible by anyone) contains only the first of the above sets of illustrations.
