DCLG has published the following government response to the "Technical consultation on planning" (which ran for 8 weeks from 31/07/2014 until 26/09/2014):

The above "response" document covers the proposals to introduce a deemed discharge of planning conditions (i.e. where an application to discharge a condition has been submitted, but the LPA hasn't issued a decision within a certain time period).
