The Part 1 of the GPDO - INCIDENTAL Appeal Decisions document has been updated to include 2 additional appeal decisions relating to the "incidental" requirement of Part 1 Class E, for which the conclusions (short version) are as follows:
February 2023 - Code b00508:
- Outbuilding (total area 78m2).
- Note: The Inspector states that "There is no indication of how the outbuilding would be used although the plans show a garage type door".
- Conclusion: NOT incidental
December 2022 - Code b00507:
- Outbuilding (total area 218m2) containing games room (including pool table and table tennis table) (68m2), gym (59m2), and store room (49m2).
- Conclusion: NOT incidental
