“GPDO Part 1 (All Classes) – LDC Appeal Decisions” – 3 additional appeal decisions (total = 1,771) …

The "GPDO Part 1 (All Classes) - LDC Appeal Decisions" document has been updated to include 3 additional appeal decisions relating to householder permitted development legislation, for which the conclusions are as follows:

March 2024 - Code a01665 (appeal dismissed):

  • This appeal decision provides an example of where it was concluded that a particular piece of land is within the “curtilage” of the property.
[Note: The land is approx 90m-99m from the main house (note: the land was previously separated from the main house by a garage)].
  • This appeal decision provides an example of where it was concluded that the phrase “dual-pitched roof” does not apply to a particular roof.
[Note: The outbuilding has a “H-”-shaped footprint with a hipped roof / dual-pitched roof along each of the four lengths of the “H-”, such that there’s a merging section where these four roofs meet, and such that the inner roof slopes along the two “l”s of the “H-” are joined to form a valley gutter].

March 2024 - Code a01664 (appeal allowed):
