The government has published the following consultation, which runs for (approx) 9 weeks from 16/07/2026 until 18/09/2026:

  • July 2026: Consultation on proposed regulations for a time-limited relief from the Community Infrastructure Levy in London (pdf) (link).

    - "The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government is seeking
    views on proposed regulations to implement a time-limited relief from CIL to
    support housebuilding in London. The proposed relief was announced as part
    of the Homes for London emergency package in October 2025."    .
